Activities
- Introduction (10 minutes): The teacher will introduce the topic of the Great Wall of China and its historical significance. Students will be asked to share any prior knowledge they have about the Great Wall of China.
- Lecture (20 minutes): The teacher will deliver a lecture on the construction process and challenges faced during the building of the Great Wall of China. The lecture will include images and diagrams to aid understanding.
- Discussion (15 minutes): Students will be divided into small groups to discuss the impact of the Great Wall of China on Chinese culture and society. Each group will present their findings to the class.
- Group Activity (15 minutes): Students will work in groups to create a model of the Great Wall of China using paper, markers, scissors, and glue. Each group will present their model to the class.
Assessment
Assessment will be based on participation in group activities, group presentations, and a written reflection on the significance of the Great Wall of China.
