In this project, students will create a digital portfolio showcasing their learning in the subject of history. The learning outcomes for this project include:

Methodology

Students will begin by selecting a topic in history that they have studied throughout the year. They will then research and gather information on their chosen topic, using both primary and secondary sources. Next, they will organize their information and create a digital portfolio using a platform such as Google Sites or Weebly. The portfolio should include:

  • An introduction to the topic
  • Background information on the topic
  • Key events and people related to the topic
  • Reflections on their learning and how it connects to the broader context of history
  • Visual aids such as images, videos, and infographics
