Creating a Digital Storybook

In this project, students will use technology to create their own digital storybook. This project will enhance their creativity, writing skills, and technology skills.

Learning Outcomes:

• Students will be able to write a story with a clear beginning, middle, and end.
• Students will be able to use technology to create a digital storybook.
• Students will be able to present their storybook to the class.

Methodology:

1. Introduce the project to the class and explain the learning outcomes.

2. Provide examples of digital storybooks and discuss the elements of a good story.

3. Have students brainstorm ideas for their own storybook.

4. Have students write their story using a word processing program.

5. Have students create illustrations for their story using digital drawing tools.

6. Have students use a digital storybook creator to put their story and illustrations together.

7. Have students present their storybook to the class.

Resources/Materials:

• Computers or tablets with word processing and digital drawing tools
• Digital storybook creator software (such as Book Creator or StoryJumper)
• Examples of digital storybooks

Instructions:
