Creating a Digital Portfolio

In this project, students will create a digital portfolio to showcase their learning and growth throughout the school year. The portfolio will include various types of media such as written work, photos, videos, and audio recordings. The project will cover the following learning outcomes:

  • Students will be able to reflect on their learning and identify areas of growth.
  • Students will be able to organize and present their work in a professional manner.

Methodology

The project will be divided into three phases:

  1. Planning: Students will brainstorm ideas for their portfolio and create a plan for what they want to include. They will also research different digital portfolio platforms and choose one to use.
  2. Creating: Students will gather and organize their work, and create their digital portfolio using the chosen platform. They will also write reflections on their learning and growth throughout the year.
  3. Presenting: Students will present their portfolios to the class and receive feedback from their peers.

  • Access to a camera or smartphone for taking photos and videos

Instructions

1. Introduce the project to the class and explain the learning outcomes.
