In this project, students will work in groups to create a digital magazine on a topic related to English Language Arts. The project will cover the following learning outcomes:
- Know how to research and gather information on a topic
- Understand how to write and edit articles for a magazine
- Can use digital tools to create a magazine layout and design
Methodology
Students will be divided into groups of four or five and will choose a topic related to English Language Arts. They will then research and gather information on their topic, using both online and offline resources. Once they have gathered enough information, they will write and edit articles for their magazine, ensuring that they are well-written and engaging. They will then use digital tools such as Canva or Adobe InDesign to create a magazine layout and design.

- Computers or tablets with internet access
- Access to online and offline resources such as books, articles, and websites
- Digital tools such as Canva or Adobe InDesign
Instructions
1. Divide students into groups of four or five and have them choose a topic related to English Language Arts.
2. Have students research and gather information on their topic, using both online and offline resources.
3. Once they have gathered enough information, have them write and edit articles for their magazine, ensuring that they are well-written and engaging.
4. Have students use digital tools such as Canva or Adobe InDesign to create a magazine layout and design.
5. Once the magazines are complete, have students present them to the class.
