Creating a Digital Portfolio

In this project, students will learn how to create a digital portfolio to showcase their work and progress throughout the school year. The project will cover the following learning outcomes:

• Understand the importance of creating a digital portfolio
• Know how to use digital tools to create a portfolio
• Can organize and present their work in a professional manner

Methodology

The project will be divided into three parts:

1. Introduction to digital portfolios and tools
2. Organizing and presenting work
3. Finalizing and sharing the portfolio

Resources/Materials Required

• Access to a computer or tablet
• Internet connection
• Online portfolio platform (such as Google Sites or Wix)
• Examples of digital portfolios

Instructions

1. Introduce the concept of digital portfolios and show examples of portfolios created by professionals and students.

2. Provide students with a list of online portfolio platforms and guide them through the process of choosing one that suits their needs.

3. Instruct students to organize their work into categories (such as writing, art, and projects) and upload them to their portfolio.

4. Teach students how to present their work in a professional manner by adding descriptions, captions, and multimedia elements.

5. Encourage students to share their portfolios with their peers and receive feedback.
