Creating a Digital Portfolio
In this project, students will learn how to create a digital portfolio to showcase their work and progress throughout the school year. The project will cover the following learning outcomes:
- Understand the importance of creating a digital portfolio
- Know how to use digital tools to create a portfolio
- Can organize and present their work in a professional manner
The project will be divided into three parts:
- Introduction to digital portfolios and tools
- Organizing and presenting work
- Finalizing and sharing the portfolio
- Access to a computer or tablet
- Internet connection
- Online portfolio platform (such as Google Sites or Wix)
- Examples of digital portfolios
1. Introduce the concept of digital portfolios and show examples of portfolios created by professionals and students.
2. Provide students with a list of online portfolio platforms and guide them through the process of choosing one that suits their needs.
3. Instruct students to organize their work into categories (such as writing, art, and projects) and upload them to their portfolio.
4. Teach students how to present their work in a professional manner by adding descriptions, captions, and multimedia elements.
5. Encourage students to share their portfolios with their peers and receive feedback.
1. Brainstorming session to discuss the benefits of creating a digital portfolio.
2. Researching and comparing different online portfolio platforms.
3. Organizing and uploading work to the portfolio.
4. Peer review and feedback session.
5. Finalizing and sharing the portfolio with the class.
Students will be assessed based on the following criteria:

- Professionalism and attention to detail
- Peer feedback and collaboration
