In this project, students will learn how to create a digital portfolio to showcase their work and progress throughout the school year. The learning outcomes for this project include:
- Understanding the importance of organization and presentation in showcasing their work
- Developing digital literacy skills by using technology to create a portfolio
- Learning how to reflect on their own learning and progress
Methodology
Students will be introduced to the concept of a digital portfolio and shown examples of portfolios created by other students. They will then be given time to brainstorm and plan what they want to include in their own portfolio. Next, they will be taught how to use a digital platform such as Google Sites or Weebly to create their portfolio. They will be given time to work on their portfolios in class and will receive feedback from their peers and the teacher. Finally, they will reflect on their learning and progress throughout the project.

- Computers or tablets with internet access
- Access to a digital platform such as Google Sites or Weebly
- Examples of digital portfolios created by other students
- Rubric for assessing the portfolios
Instructions
