Methodology:
This activity will involve a spelling bee competition where students will participate individually or in teams. The competition will consist of multiple rounds, each focusing on different spelling rules and word categories. Students will be provided with study materials and resources to prepare for the spelling bee.

- Study guides with spelling rules
- Whiteboard or blackboard
- Markers or chalk
- Timer
- Prizes for winners
Instructions:
1. Introduce the concept of a spelling bee to the students and explain the rules and format of the competition.
2. Distribute the spelling bee word list and study guides to the students. Encourage them to study and practice the words and spelling rules.
3. Divide the class into individual participants or teams, depending on the number of students.
4. Conduct the spelling bee competition in multiple rounds. Each round can focus on a specific spelling rule or word category.
5. Use the whiteboard or blackboard to display the words for the participants to spell. Start with easier words and gradually increase the difficulty level.
6. Set a time limit for each participant or team to spell the word. Use a timer to ensure fairness.
7. If a participant/team spells a word incorrectly, they are eliminated from the round. The last participant/team standing in each round advances to the next round.
8. Continue the competition until a winner or winning team is determined.
9. Award prizes to the winners to celebrate their spelling achievements.
Activities:
1. Pre-spelling bee activity: Have students create flashcards with spelling words and their definitions. They can use these flashcards for individual or group study sessions.
2. Spelling rule exploration: Assign each student or team a specific spelling rule to research and present to the class. Encourage them to find examples and create visual aids to support their presentations.
3. Vocabulary expansion: Have students create a word wall in the classroom. Each student can contribute by adding new words they encounter and their correct spellings. This will serve as a visual reminder of the importance of spelling and vocabulary.
4. Spelling bee practice sessions: Organize practice sessions where students can take turns being the spelling bee moderator and participants. This will help them become familiar with the competition format and build confidence in their spelling abilities.

- Participation in spelling rule presentations
