Instructions:
Step 1: Introduction (15 minutes)
Begin the activity by discussing the importance of nutrition in maintaining overall health. Explain the different nutrients required by the body and their functions.
Step 2: Hands-on Experiment (30 minutes)
Divide the students into small groups. Provide each group with different food items and their nutrition labels. Instruct them to analyze the nutritional content of the food items and compare them. Encourage them to discuss the impact of different nutrients on the body.
Step 3: Research (30 minutes)
Ask the students to conduct research on a specific nutrient of their choice. They should explore its functions, sources, and the consequences of its deficiency or excess in the body. They can use the internet or library resources for their research.

Have each group present their findings to the class. They should include visual aids, such as posters or slides, to enhance their presentations. Encourage the class to ask questions and engage in discussions after each presentation.
Step 5: Reflection and Conclusion (15 minutes)
Lead a class discussion on the key takeaways from the activity. Ask the students to reflect on how their understanding of nutrition and its impact on overall health has evolved through this activity.
