Instructions:
Step 1: Introduction (15 minutes)
Begin the lesson by asking students what they know about agriculture. Write their responses on the board and discuss the importance of agriculture in our daily lives.
Step 2: Exploring Agricultural Products (20 minutes)
Show students images or videos showcasing different agricultural practices, such as farming, fishing, and forestry. Discuss the various agricultural products that come from these practices, such as fruits, vegetables, grains, dairy products, and meat.
Divide the students into small groups and provide each group with a set of food items. Ask them to identify the agricultural products used to make each item and discuss their findings as a class.
Step 3: From Farm to Table (30 minutes)
Explain the process of food production from farm to table. Discuss the different stages, including planting, growing, harvesting, processing, packaging, transporting, and selling. Use visual aids and real-life examples to help students understand each stage.
Ask students to draw a flowchart or create a timeline showing the journey of a specific agricultural product from the farm to their table. They can use art supplies to make their diagrams visually appealing.
Step 4: Reflection and Discussion (15 minutes)
Have a class discussion about what students have learned. Ask them to share their flowcharts or timelines and explain the process they depicted. Encourage questions and further exploration of the topic.

To assess students' understanding, you can:
- Review their flowcharts or timelines to ensure they accurately depict the process of food production from farm to table
- Engage in one-on-one discussions with students to gauge their comprehension and ability to identify different agricultural products
