Instructions:

1. Begin the lesson by asking students if they know what a computer is. Write their responses on the whiteboard or chart paper.
2. Show pictures of different computer components (monitor, keyboard, mouse, CPU) and ask students to identify each component.
3. Explain the uses of computers in everyday life, such as for communication, learning, and entertainment.
4. Discuss different computer tools and applications, such as word processors, web browsers, and drawing programs.
5. Provide hands-on activities for students to explore computers. Allow them to use a word processor to type their names, browse child-friendly websites, and use a drawing program to create simple pictures.
6. Give each student a worksheet with pictures of computer tools and applications. Ask them to match the pictures with their names.
7. Review the lesson by asking students to share what they have learned about computers.

Assessment:

Assess students' understanding through observation during the hands-on activities and their completion of the worksheet. Ask questions to check their comprehension of the lesson content.
