Learning Outcomes:

Methodology:
This project will involve a combination of individual and group work, as well as both written and oral presentations. Students will be guided through the following steps:
- Introduction to Literary Devices: Begin by introducing students to various literary devices such as simile, metaphor, personification, imagery, and symbolism. Provide examples from well-known literary works to illustrate each device.
- Exploration of Literary Devices: Assign each student a specific literary device to research and analyze. Students will investigate how the device is used in different texts and identify its impact on the reader.
- Creative Writing Activity: Instruct students to write a short story or poem that incorporates the literary device assigned to them. Encourage creativity and originality in their writing.
- Peer Review and Feedback: Organize peer review sessions where students exchange their written pieces and provide constructive feedback to their peers. Emphasize the importance of offering specific suggestions for improvement.
- Oral Presentations: Allocate time for students to present their creative writing pieces to the class. Encourage them to explain how they incorporated the assigned literary device and the impact it had on their writing.

Instructions:
Follow these steps to implement the project:
- Introduce the project to the students, explaining the learning outcomes and the importance of understanding and utilizing literary devices in their writing.
- Provide a list of literary devices for students to choose from or assign specific devices to each student.
- Allocate sufficient time for students to research and analyze their assigned literary device. Encourage them to take notes and gather examples from various texts.
- Once students have a good understanding of their assigned device, instruct them to start working on their creative writing piece. Remind them to incorporate the device effectively to enhance their writing.
- Organize peer review sessions, ensuring that students receive feedback from multiple classmates. Emphasize the importance of constructive criticism and the opportunity for growth.
- Set a date for the oral presentations. Each student should prepare a brief explanation of their creative writing piece and how they incorporated the assigned literary device.
- Assess students' understanding and application of literary devices through a rubric that evaluates their written pieces, peer feedback, and oral presentations.
